Touch down at OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in this fast-paced city, South Africa's financial heart.

DAY 03

Mpumalanga / Kruger National Park (BD)

After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel and whisked off to the world famous Kruger National Park via Hazyview, where your safari begins as you board an open safari vehicle. Game sightings abound virtually from the moment you enter this extraordinary reserve. Enjoy your first night in this unique patch of African wilderness. Kruger rest Camp or similar

DAY 04

Kruger National Park  (BD)

With an entire day in Kruger ahead, we adapt our behaviour to that of the animals: set off on a dawn safari, retire to camp for a soothing midday siesta, and then enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Kruger rest Camp or similar

DAY 05

Kruger National Park / Johannesburg (B)

There's time to savour another sunrise safari then tuck into a hearty breakfast before returning to camp around mid morning. We leave the reserve and travel back to Johannesburg, arriving at about 19h00.

DAY 06

Cape Town (B)

It's off to Cape Town this morning (onward flight not included). On arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the joys of the 'Mother City'. A perfect opportunity to visit the V&A Waterfront. Protea Hotel President or similar

DAY 07

 Cape of Good Hope (B)

Enjoy a full day's sightseeing in one of the world's hottest tourist destination. Much of our journey is along the achingly beautiful coastline, with majestic views of mountain and ocean. We visit Cape Point, one of the best spots in Cape Town for viewing whales and dolphins. On our return to the city we drive through the quaint naval village of Simon's Town. Protea Hotel President

Cape Town and the Western Cape

The Western Cape is situated on the south-western tip of Africa. The climate is cool and rainy during winter and hot in the summer. This region is well known for its scenic beauty and many attractions, making it one of the premier tourist attractions of South Africa.

Some attractions in Cape Town and the Western Cape include:
• Table Mountain - The striking flat-topped mountain forming the backdrop to Cape Town
• Robben Island - A former prison, now a national monument
• Cape Point - The most southern point of the Cape Peninsula
• Kirstenbosch - One of the world’s great botanical gardens with a wide variety of indigenous plants and also home to many rare fynbos species
• The Winelands - Beautiful vineyards, towering mountains and towns with great history

The Garden Route

The Garden Route runs along the southern Cape coast. With its Mediterranean climate the summers are moderately hot and winters are mild and chilly. This region is also one of the richest rainfall areas in South Africa which keeps it constantly green. The lush green forests, beautiful mountains, bays and lakes makes this region a must see.

Some attractions in the Garden Route include:
• The Cango Caves - Caves of awesome splendour, sculpted by nature through the ages
• Outeniqua Choo Tjoe - A magnificent steam hauled train traveling between George and Knysna in the heart of the Garden Route
• Bloukrans River Bridge (Storms River) - The highest bridge to Bungee jump from in the world
• Tsitsikamma National Park - Internationally recognized for its magnificent forests

Once you have experienced the Garden Route you can end your trip in Port Elizabeth, the ‘Friendly City’ and gateway to the Eastern Cape. This region has much to offer in terms of wildlife and scenery. Johannesburg and Pretoria

The Gauteng region, also know as ‘the Place of Gold’, is the smallest of the nine provinces. This region has a lot to offer the traveler interested in discovering Gauteng. Some places of interest in Gauteng include The Apartheid Museum, The Cradle of Humankind at Sterkfontein - Gauteng’s famous World Heritage Site and the townships.

Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga and Limpopo

This magnificent province is home to the world-famous Kruger National Park, one of the major tourist attractions of the country. Its boasts a rich cultural tradition offering visitors a taste of Africa. Here you can experience awesome views, great private game lodges, the famous Blyde River Canyon as well as the ‘Big Five’.


Sun City, the North West and Waterberg

The North West, also known as the “Heritage Province’, is home to the world-famous Sun City hotel/entertainment complex. Durban and KwaZulu-Natal

KwaZulu-Natal, know as the Kingdom of the Zulu, is situated on South Africa’s south east coast. It has a subtropical climate making it a very popular holiday destination. Some of KwaZulu-Natal’s greatest attractions include the Battlefields - with their great history of turbulent wars, the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park - the largest reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, the Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park - one of South Africa’s first World Heritage Sites and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain range.
